Project:  The100DayProject.org - 100 days of Share and Bloom - Day 16

Illustrator: Jenny

ILLUSTRATOR SAYS:

The aim of my project: to provide a comfort blanket for my soul and the soul of others.

Day 16 image:

  • It’s the falling down that got me back up again

  • The knocks that gave me my strength and determination

  • It’s not about waiting until everything is okay and then moving forwards

  • It’s moving forwards anyway

  • If I wake up…then I know I have a job to do.

Background to The 100 Day Project:

This is a project led by Lindsay Jean Thomson who is a writer and co-founder of Women Catalysts. In 2016, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, a bizarre yet life-affirming experience she chronicled for VICE.

I’d love to get your support and encouragement over the next few months if you’d like to comment and share.

Hope anything I create gives you a little bit of comfort for your soul.
