The aim of my project: to provide a comfort blanket for my soul and the soul of others.

Day 10 image:

After a lifetime of aiming for perfection and failing, I’ve realised I am enough. I don’t need to compare myself to anyone any more and decide if they are better than me or not. We are all unique and equal. And enough. Finally enough is enough and I am at peace with who I am.

  • Enough is: passing my exam without getting 100%

  • Enough is: having a wobbly bum

  • Enough is: a bad home hair cut

  • Enough is: not getting all my chores done today

  • Enough is: grooming the cat every two days not every day

  • Enough is: exceptional

Creative Learnings:

  • In line with this post, I missed two days posting for this project. But decided that 100 days don’t have to be 100 consecutive days. Or it can be a 100 days of posts on most days. The project doesn’t have to be perfect. It can be enough.

  • Getting support from others. I don’t know much about social media so I’m getting some help from a friend of a friend to help with social media and see if my illustrations and words can have a greater reach to help more people bloom.

Background to The 100 Day Project:

This is a project led by Lindsay Jean Thomson who is a writer and co-founder of Women Catalysts. In 2016, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, a bizarre yet life-affirming experience she chronicled for VICE.
