ILLUSTRATOR SAYS:
The aim of my project: to provide a comfort blanket for my soul and the soul of others.
Day 21 image:
I see bullying everywhere.
Some wear it like a shiny badge of honour.
Children.
Adolescents.
Adults.
I see some seem to enjoy it.
And I read research shows it’s often not because they are hurting themselves as some like to believe, they genuinely feel superior.
God only knows why they often get protected.
I may die never understanding the evil of humankind.
Hard boundaries is what anyone gets for bullying me now.
Bullies: not welcome and shouldn’t be. Any. Where.

Background to The 100 Day Project:
This is a project led by Lindsay Jean Thomson who is a writer and co-founder of Women Catalysts. In 2016, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, a bizarre yet life-affirming experience she chronicled for VICE.
I’d love to get your support and encouragement over the next few months if you’d like to comment and share.
Hope anything I create gives you a little bit of comfort for your soul.
