Do you need a broken heart to be creative?

Whilst I might never know the real answer to this question, the more challenging times in my life certainly do give me creative inspiration. In fact great healing has come from being creative after having a difficult life situation. Sometimes creativity is needed to get the right ideas to get me out of a rut.

I’d even go as far as saying that the darkest times in my life have nearly always followed with the biggest bursts of creative inspiration.

The essence of my cartoons come from simplifying the muddle in my mind and the pickles in my life.
