ILLUSTRATOR SAYS:

The aim of my project: to provide a comfort blanket for my soul and the soul of others.

Day 3 image: I’m working on the feeling like I can do things and don’t need to rush to other people to help me fix them.

My washing machine broke and I immediately wanted to ask a friend to fix it or phone a company to come look at it.

But I’m changing. I’m feeling stronger. I’m not helpless. All I had to do was google it. Just needed to clean the filter!! Flooded the kitchen when I opened it up! Oopsie. All fixed now and on my second wash load. ⭐

Background to The 100 Day Project:

This is a project led by Lindsay Jean Thomson who is a writer and co-founder of Women Catalysts. In 2016, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, a bizarre yet life-affirming experience she chronicled for VICE.

I’d love to get your support and encouragement over the next few months if you’d like to comment and share.

Hope anything I create gives you a little bit of comfort for your soul.
